Product Design

I led design and played an active designer role on an exciting project to take Driveway’s user accounts from a basic set of functionality, to a modern recommendations based dashboard that would boost engagement and customer retention. Partnering with a Senior Product Manager, we built and pitched a product vision and feature set that got approved and built.

Dashboard Concept

The dashboard view was a new idea we pushed for. It would feature the customer’s vehicle and recommended actions. If no vehicle existed, it would motive the user to add one for getting a buy back offer or service management.

Wireframing User Stories

Designing from a user story the Product team provided, the design team built a wireframe prototype stuffed with futuristic features. The prototype was pitch to leadership for discussion and approval to continue building towards the future vision.

Final Designs

The vision was set for the future and the Dashboard feature was approved and moved to high-fidelity design and development. It featured twelve various content states for launch, dictated by the user’s position in their product journey.
